- Daily internet bundles plan – mainly for mobile phone users. To subscribe dial *544# > “4.” there is an option for 5MB, 10MB, and 25MB
- Other Data bundles, this is mainly for modem users. to subscribe dial *544#, > “5.” You can choose from 50MB up to 50GB. NB: The bigger the bundle size the less the cost per MB.
- Safaricom also offers unlimited data plans. there is daily, 3days, weekly, and monthly unlimited data plan. To subscribe Dial *544# > 5 > 98 > 12 > NB: The speed limit is 512mb/s.
- For safaricom setting on your phone, Dial *445#, save the setting once you receive them and you are good to go.
Currently, Safaricom has the largest 3G network coverage in the country.
2. AIRTEL
Airtel recently launched 3G internet. the company offers daily internet bundles, other data bundle plans and unlimited data plans.

- Daily internet bundles – mainly used with a phone. they range from 5mb to 25mb. To subscribe Dial *111#, then select (3) Airtel broadband > daily internet bundles. NB: though the same with safaricom their charges are a little bit lower.
- There are also other data plans for use with modem or heavy internet users. To subscribe Dial, *111#, >3(internet bundles).
- Airtel also have unlimited internet access plan – daily and weekly. To subscribe Dial *111# >(3)internet bundles > again select 3( internet bundles.
- For internet setting on your phone send a Sms “ALL” then send to 232.
